Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Clipxir, a service operated by WCDynamics ("Clipxir," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Clipxir, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Clipxir locates, edits, and publishes short-form video: it finds clip-worthy moments in a Twitch clip, VOD, or YouTube video, edits and captions them into a short vertical video using AI, and - if you connect a TikTok or YouTube account - can publish the finished video to that account on your behalf.

Clipxir is currently in beta. Features, availability, and pricing may change, including features you're actively using.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Clipxir, and old enough to lawfully agree to these Terms where you live. If you connect a TikTok or YouTube account, you must also separately meet that platform's own age and account requirements.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You keep ownership of whatever you submit to Clipxir (clip URLs, uploaded video, and anything else you provide) and of the videos Clipxir produces from it. By submitting content, you give Clipxir the limited right to store, process, transcode, and transmit it - including sending it to third-party services (see our Privacy Policy) - solely to provide the service back to you.

You're responsible for having the rights to submit whatever you submit. Don't submit content you don't own or don't have permission to use, and don't submit content that's illegal, infringing, or violates someone else's rights.

If you connect a TikTok or YouTube account in Settings, you authorize Clipxir to post videos to that account when you explicitly click "Post" on a finished clip - Clipxir never posts automatically or without you initiating it for that specific clip. You can disconnect a platform at any time from Settings, which stops Clipxir from being able to post to it going forward.

Whatever you post through Clipxir to a connected platform is still subject to that platform's own terms of service and community guidelines, and posting is ultimately your decision and your responsibility - Clipxir isn't responsible for actions TikTok, YouTube, or any other platform takes on your account as a result of something you chose to post.

Captions, edit decisions, and other AI-assisted output can contain errors - wrong words, mistimed cuts, or a moment picked that doesn't land. Review a clip before posting it publicly; Clipxir doesn't guarantee the accuracy of anything AI-generated.

You agree not to:

• Use Clipxir for anything illegal, or to submit content that infringes someone else's rights, harasses someone, or violates a platform's (Twitch, TikTok, YouTube) own rules.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or the intended way of using the product (automated scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing usage limits).
• Use another person's account, or connect a TikTok/YouTube account you don't have authorization to post to.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

Clipxir processes content you submit (Twitch clips/VODs, YouTube URLs, uploaded video) and, for AI-assisted editing, source material you don't necessarily own the underlying rights to - you're responsible for having the right to submit and publish whatever you submit (see §4). If you believe something processed or posted through Clipxir infringes your copyright, contact us (§14) with: a description of the copyrighted work, the specific clip or URL involved, your contact information, and a statement made in good faith that the use isn't authorized. We'll investigate and remove access to infringing content where appropriate, and may suspend or terminate accounts with repeat infringements.

Clipxir is currently free to use during the beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future - if we do, we'll provide notice before charging you for anything you're currently using for free.

You can stop using Clipxir and delete your account at any time from Settings, which deletes your account and your clips. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the service (or a feature of it) with notice where practical.

Clipxir is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will meet any particular standard. To the fullest extent the law allows, WCDynamics isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Clipxir, including anything that happens as a result of content you chose to post to a connected platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll post the update here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use Clipxir after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
